THINGS WE AGREE ON

  • Your session will depend on having a robust internet connection.  Please do your best to ensure that your signal is good enough for us to have an uninterrupted conversation.  I will do my best too. That said, we can’t always control how our internet connections behave.  If for any reason the signal at either your end or my end is not good enough, we can finish your session via telephone.  We can only do our best, can’t we.

  • How much progress you make depends on how committed you are to make improvements in your life.  Coaching is definitely not something that is ‘done’ to you, and I can’t do the work for you.  That means you will be responsible for the decisions and choices reached during our sessions together. Your wellbeing is entwined in all areas of your life, and I promise to coach and guide you to the best of my abilities through an open, honest, supportive and motivating coaching relationship.

  • If you have booked an Insight Session there can be big shifts forward from just the one session.  However, you may need further sessions to see the results you really want.
  • Confidentiality is important to me.  As a professional coach, I will always ensure your complete confidentiality.  This means that our conversation will never be overhead by anyone at my end.  I also need you to make sure that you can speak completely privately and freely too; that means that no one will be able to overhear our conversation at your end, and there will be no one else sitting in the room with you whilst you have your session.  Even if it’s someone you are happy to speak in front of, I need you to be completely alone with me.  Please make sure you have made childcare arrangements to cover your session, if appropriate.
  • It’s really important that you tell me if you’re receiving any medical treatment or are in any kind of therapy.  Please know that coaching is not a substitute for medical treatment, mental health care or substance abuse treatment.  You will need to consult a medical professional for any health concerns you may have.

  • If you need to re-arrange your session, please let me know as soon as you can.  With at least 24 hours notice, we may be able to reschedule. If you cancel within 24 hours, I can’t guarantee this. If you cancel twice, I’m afraid we won’t be able to reschedule and you will have to forfeit your session - even with 24 hours notice.  This is a situation that I am keen to avoid.

  • When we speak via Zoom, it’s best if you can use a laptop computer.  That way, you won’t have to hold the screen in your hand, and you will be able to see me on a decent sized screen.  You also won’t be disturbed by messages and notifications coming through. A tablet is also OK.  If you only have a phone to use, then that will work too, but please make sure you have a charger nearby, and something to rest your phone on so that you don’t have to hold it.

  • If for any reason you decide that you don’t want to continue to have coaching sessions with me (over and above the times that you feel ‘resistance’ to doing the work – that’s normal and happens to everyone), then I trust that you’ve thought it through thoroughly and have made the right decision for your future self. Just let me know as soon as possible. If you have paid in full for your package of sessions, I will refund the fees you’ve paid for the cancelled sessions, minus an admin fee of £288. If you are paying for your package monthly, then I will cancel your payment plan 31 days after you inform me that you no longer want to continue.

  • There will be no refunds for sessions you have already taken.
  • If there is anything that you’re unsure of, please just ask.  I am happy to answer silly questions, so please don’t hold back.
