Did you know that San Pellegrino Sparkling Grapefruit drink contains more sugar than Coca Cola? Per can, the San Pellegrino contains 39.9g of sugar, whilst Coke contains 35g. That’s nearly a teaspoon more.
It’s a plain old sugary soft drink, dressed up to look not so. And to be fair, they’ve done a pretty good job! I imagine that there’s plenty of people drinking these drinks, thinking that they’re simply mineral water with a dash of fruit juice. Ah, the power of branding.
