Get Some Headspace

I am often recommending meditation for its numerous physiological and psychological benefits, but the challenge is often how to introduce this valuable practice into the lives of people who are not accustomed to it.

Thanks to the wonderful Headspace organisation, this challenge is no more!
The Headspace book, written by Andy Puddicombe is an excellent introduction to meditation for those who lead busy lives, and Andy's 'Take 10' ten minute daily meditation is enough to see the benefits.

But perhaps more useful than the book, is the Headspace app.  You can listen to daily guided meditations on your phone (for a manageable ten minutes), and set reminders to make sure you don't forget to do it.  I'm impressed.
