Worried about Wine Flu?



Most of us at some time in our lives have suffered from Wine Flu, an unpleasant and debilitating 24 hour condition brought on by alcohol consumption. If you yourself have never suffered from wine flu, you probably know someone who has. Here are some tips to keep you safe:
Prevention is better than cure
Abstenance is the best way to avoid the illness, but moderation also works especially if you drink plenty of water during exposure. Keep yourself topped up with antioxidants like vitamin C, and also B vitamins on a regular basis to stay protected.

First aid
If you do become affected, have a teaspoon of glutamine powder in water before you go to bed to help equip your liver to do its work, and to repair any damage to your digestive system. On waking, take a sachet of Refresh to help give you energy for the day ahead. For breakfast stick to porridge and avoid the fry up at all costs - this will increase the work that your liver has to do. You will also need to drink plenty of water throughout the day to replace lost fluids.
